It's been a long, hard struggle, but we've finally got there - The two final bands, The Favours (Lock 17) and Lucifer Star Machine (93 Feet East) , have been added to the Relief line-up.

In other news, Rhesus will now headline the Brixton Windmill all-dayer, with Abdoujaparov and Jim-Bob taking up the 2nd and 3rd slots respectively. See the 'Relief Events' page for full line-up and ticket details.

Important News - New Charity

As of today, the DEC are no longer taking donations for the Tsunami Relief effort, as they are a commission set up solely for the immediate aftermath of such catastrophes.

As a result, all of the money raised at our shows will be donated to Tsunami Relief Cymru, a charity based in Wales, that is working towards rebuilding self sufficient communities in the affected areas.

More Bands Confirmed
Piranha Deathray have been added to the Lock 17 gig, while Salvo will now appear at 93 Feet East, as well as Brixton Windmill. Iraqi/American protest singer Stephan Smith, has also been added to the Windmill show.

Tickets are now on sale for the Lock 17 and 93 Feet East shows, priced at £5 each. You can get them online from Ticketweb where tickets for the 100 Club show are also available.

Tickets for the Metro gig, headlined by S*M*A*S*H* can be bought from Stargreen or Ticketweb priced at £6.

We're thrilled to announce our first out of London date, at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff on Thursday 17th March. The line-up so far includes The International Karate Plus and Rhesus.

More bands have been added to the rapidly expanding Relief line up.
Festival organisers Rhesus will be joined by Corporation:Blend on Thursday 19th February at 93 Feet East, while Stuffy & the Fuses who count Graham Coxon's drummer amongst their number, and are currently recording with Steve Albini, will play at Lock 17 on February 14th.

Our first event, The G-Spot festival in Bethnal Green, curated by Jim Rhesus & God Is In The TV e-zine, was a massive success. The venue was packed out & a great time was had by all. Rhesus, Luxembourg and The International Karate Plus all put in stirling sets, and The Fallingovers were an experience that few will ever forget.
Jim's now counting up the pounds and pence to see how much has been raised from our first effort - keep an eye on the totalizer at the side of the screen!

The Electric Shocks
and DJ Stu Plimsoles of Artrocker have been added to the line up for The Metro on 19th February.

Two bands have been confirmed for the Metro gig on 19th February: long time Joyzine faves M.A.S.S. and promising newcomers The Patty Winters Show.

Sam and Me have also been added to the festivities, and will open at The 100 Club on 15th February. Art Brut and Rhesus complete the line up.

We are sad to announce that Prozak will no longer be appearing at the show at Brixton Windmill on 20th February. Not to worry though, as the equally excellent Salvo have stepped into the breach to take their place.

Two more London dates have been confirmed, Monday 14th February (yep, that's Valentine's Day for all you romantics out there) at Lock 17 (formerly Dingwalls) in Camden & Saturday 19th February at The Metro on Oxford Street.

If your stuck for something to do this weekend, then head on to GSpot at The Pleasure Unit, Bethnal Green. The all-day event is being run jointly by the God is in the TV website and our very own Jim Rhesus, with proceeds going to the DEC. Here's the line-up:

News Update: 10.01.05

Venues in North London and Central London have offered nights in mid February - exciting line ups are currently being confirmed (watch this space). Bands that are unavailable on those dates are offering to assist by any means necessary (Bloc Party will raise money via their album launch party).

There will be an indoor nu-rock mini-fest on Sunday 20th February at London's Brixton Windmill featuring Abdoujaparov, Jim Bob, Rhesus, Ciccone and The Video Club who will be drawing straws for playing order.

On the 15th February, Art Brut and Rhesus will be joined by XFM DJ Jon Kennedy, and The Rock 'n' Roll Idiots at the 100 Club, Oxford Street.

Out of London shows are also coming together and there is a list of high profile bands that shows are currrently being confirmed for. The Filthy Little Angels label is also releasing a compilation.
