Flymo has a reputation for making affordable, easy to use and efficient garden equipment, especially when it comes to lawn mowers. So when I discovered the Flymo EasiMow 340R, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and give it a try. It’s made perfectly for small to medium gardens and comes with a nice range of features that will make tending to your lawn a cinch.

Cutting Ability– It does give a decent cut if you use it for what its intended. Cut your grass regularly, keep it to a decent length and the Flymo Easimo will put in a decent performance every time. That’s all you can ask of it really. It does help massively that the mower has a metal blade.The metal blade cuts though the grass cleanly and is pretty strong so expect to get a decent lifespan out of it. If there’s one thing that really does annoy us about mowers these days, it’s the fact that some manufacturers (including Flymo) design their mowers with sub-standard plastic blades which tend to break after a few uses. You won’t have that problem with this blade though, that’s for sure. If you don’t want to mess around when cutting your lawn, then I would absolutely recommend giving the Flymo EasiMow 340R a try. Its convenience at its best, but doesn’t scrimp on features that allow you to create a neat and professional looking finish to your lawn. This Flymo EasiMow 300R Electric Rotary Lawn Mower also features a convenient handle on top of the mower which makes it easier to carry to and from the lawn. Foldable Handles Motor – In terms of the motor you’ve got on this machine, it’s certainly not the most powerful out there and I wouldn’t want to overload it and expect too much of it. This means DON’T expect it to plough through foot high grass without blinking. It’s just not cut out (no pun intended!) for that kind of job.

The Flymo EasiMow 340R, the 300R and 380R, are fitted with a rear roller. As I mentioned earlier, this makes it a much more stable piece of equipment, but that’s not the main function of this part. The rear roller allows you to create a striped lawn so if you want a more traditional looking garden, you can do this with ease. The rear roller also makes the mower more stable particularly when cutting close or over the edge of flower beds. Handle– The handle is a two piece handle which you will need to fit together during assembly. You will see that half way up there are two wing knobs which connect the upper part of the handle to the bottom part. These can be loosened so that the handle can fold over for better storage.In terms of performance, the Flymo EasiMow 300R had no trouble trimming a small area of grass that had low-to-medium growth. There are 3 cutting heights available and I used the highest setting of 60 mm.
