Description

Pre Vizsla's Darksaber also appears in set 75022 Mandalorian Speeder as Darth Maul killed him and took his Darksaber; it would later pass into the possession of Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels.

there are 2 types of mandalorian fighters, the big troop transports and the small fighters used by the Protectors in Rebels. this seems to be the smaller kind, not the big ones that are large transports/dropships, so the complaint about the size seems off to me. At some point, Vizsla and his soldiers came across an escape pod lost in deep space which held Darth Maul and his brother Savage Opress: a pair of Zabrak siblings, who had laid claim to the titles of Dark Lords of the Sith, and who were critically wounded following their previous defeat at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Despite Bo-Katan's suggestion of executing the brothers, Vizsla spared them, realizing that they shared a common enemy in the Jedi, and seeing the potential for an allegiance. And you shall have it, but the Jedi are no different from Dooku, and this one shall pay in part for their crimes against Mandalore. So you see, it's not murder at all. It's like you say. It's justice !" ―Pre Vizsla and Luz Bonteri [30] Boil \ CC-5052 "Bly" \ Clone Flametrooper \ Commander Fil \ Commander Stone \ CT-411 "Ponds" \ Galactic Marine \ CT-782 "Hevy" \ CT-5555 "Fives" \ Disguised Clone \ Lieutenant Thire \ Stealth Trooper \ Waxer

The Completed Model

Vizsla learns that Maul plans to use him and the takeover of Mandalore as a step towards building a new criminal underworld. His half-cape is made of cloth. It is mainly light royal blue with streaks of a darker colour in it and the symbol of the Death Watch in dark blue printed in the middle. A rough, jagged shape made up of three spikes parallel to each other with a perpendicular line running through the middle of each one. This lightsaber was stolen from your Jedi Temple by my ancestors during the fall of the Old Republic. Since then, many Jedi have died upon its blade. Prepare yourself to join them!" ―Pre Vizsla shows Obi-Wan Kenobi the Darksaber — Listen ( file info) [7]

As the Clone Wars raged across the galaxy, Pre Vizsla plotted to toppled Duchess Satine's pacifistic regime. Following her introduction during Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan Kryze has appeared prominently during Star Wars Rebels and The Mandalorian too. This character's bright armour has remained reasonably consistent between distinct television series and her helmet displays particularly intricate detail, corresponding precisely with the source material. Vizsla: People of Mandalore, I am Pre Vizsla, of Clan Vizsla! Death Watch is here to save you from these intergalactic gangsters that threaten our great city! This is a war. And we will win. Join me, and let us defend Mandalore against the criminals. We need action, not pacifism! They could not engineer all this. The problem has clearly grown much larger than we thought, and I suspect some external force helped it along." You are describing the Fang-class Starfighter, introduced during Star Wars Rebels, which is a significantly smaller and completely different vessel. That and the Kom'rk do share aesthetic similarities but this model is definitely intended to represent the Kom'rk."

Details

Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter became available during 2012 and 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter shares numerous similarities with its predecessor, especially concerning their sizes. However, this design actually represents a different variant of the Kom'rk-class Starfighter, with an alternative fuselage and laser cannon arrangement. Additionally, the distinct blue, dark blue and light bluish grey colour scheme looks fantastic. According to The Official Star Wars Fact File Part 98 (MAN 1-4, Mandalore), the Mandalorian Civil War took place around 20 years before the Clone Wars. As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the beginning of the Clone Wars to the year 22 BBY, it can be determined that the Mandalorian Civil War took place circa 42 BBY. Declaring himself Prime Minister, Vizsla looks upon the Mandalorians cheering their support for him. Heavily armed an armored, Vizsla utilized various weapons and gadgets in battle, including the fabled Darksaber. Pre Vizsla was the leader of the Mandalorian Death Watch faction during the Clone Wars. He hatched several plots with Count Dooku to take over the planet Mandalore, as he believed that its current leaders, lead by Duchess Satine Kryze, were weak and had followed the wrong course of action. He was a strong believer in the warlike culture that Mandalore had always been and wished to reinstate those nearly forgotten ways. When his plans failed, Vizsla turned on Dooku, who gave him a lightsaber scar across his face. The Death Watch leader, with but a fraction of his previous fighting force, went into seclusion, vowing revenge on the Count and on the new Mandalorian government that he had failed to conquer. He later received the coordinates of Dooku's location from Separatist deserter Lux Bonteri so he could kill Dooku. After Lux escaped Death Watch, disillusioned with their beliefs, it is unknown what happened to the coordinates of Dooku's location.
