In fact, I found the best way to vacuum up these pieces is to move the H-POWER 300 towards me as I cleaned, rather than push it away and then back again. Just be aware that you may need a few more sweeps to clean effectively, and that you should try using the hard floor mode in more situations to ensure that maximum suction is applied to the floor.

It is also lightweight, weighing less than 5kg in use, meaning it is easy to lift and manoeuvre around the home. Finally, a long cord is so helpful as is being able to use it on hard floors as well as carpet and I have to admit that I like vacuum cleaners that aren’t too noisy. You can switch this on and off, depending on the surface you’re cleaning; Hoover recommends you switch it off when cleaning floors and deep pile rugs.You can find all kind of nasties in your home, including dust mites, pet hairs and dander (dry skin), and pollen.

It is by no means necessary for normal cleaning but will improve the energy efficiency of the hoover.

This ultra-steerable upright vacuum has an 80 degree steering angle, and has a low profile, swivelling floor nozzle to glide around your furniture with ease. Allergy Care - Ideal for allergy sufferers, the washable HEPA H13 filter traps allergens for excellent quality of air re-emitted. It isn’t the most powerful model I’ve tested, but it’s capable of good results on all surfaces, although you may need to use a few sweeps to pick up everything.
