Belle has a beautiful floral dress with a shiny removable skirt and shoes and beautiful long hair for styling and hours of fun. The music can also be triggered by pressing a button on the side (and, more importantly, switched off using the controls on the underside of the top, which all parents will be thankful for at some point! Far too often the children ask for a toy that I don’t feel is worth the money, but whether I still feel the same way when I see their little faces light up on Christmas morning is a completely different matter.

The articulation of the head and neck is fluid, but unfortunately doesn't extend to the arms or legs. There is a small sticker at the top which states that real liquids should not be used with the set – given the electrical nature of the rotating musical bit at the top I guess that is obvious, but Little B was initially convinced that she should be able to use it to pour ‘purple juice’. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. Once she realised that they were for ‘pretend tea’ and not actual drinking cups, we moved on to the hilarious game of serving everyone ‘worm tea’ and ‘ant juice’ instead, and everyone was happy. She was fine, but she decided to scream the house down in panic for the whole five seconds it was stuck on her finger!Selected lines only, determined by size, weight or whether delivered direct from one of our suppliers. There’s no way I would have been able to justify spending that amount on it, although now having seen how much they love it then I realise some toys are worth the money just for the fact they make the children so happy! And yet it turns out that, thank you to the lovely people at Disney, we were very lucky to be send the toy to review, and the children couldn’t wait to play with it.

Alice has loved all things ‘princess’ for a quite a while now and of course Holly has followed this love too. It’s quite a large toy, so if you don’t have much storage space that might be an issue – but we have found that it is useful for storing other bits and pieces of kitchen role play equipment so it can be less of a space hogger than I originally thought. For the children, they absolutely loved it, so much so that a few weeks down the line they are still playing with it each day. but there are no small pieces and the handle is the perfect height for her to push it around easily so I don’t have any problem with her using it.It may not seem like much to an adult and the song, I’ve heard it enough to last me a lifetime but to Taylor, it’s magical. The girls are really into imaginative play at the moment so a set like this really provides scope for role play. As the outstanding balance, plus the interest now form part of your payable balance they will attract interest at your account rate, meaning you will pay interest on interest. For me, it’s probably up there with my favourites too, I love the characters, the music and, most of all, the message it teaches our children that beauty is only skin deep.
