It is very child friendly, the author have simplified it and made it entertaining however, without missing out the main points of each story.My Ramadhan fun pack is highly recommended as a source of fun ideas which could be adapted for use in supporting in Ramadhan and Eid. Pharaoh is used, Children of Israel is used; whereas I'd used 'Firown' and 'Bani Israel' etc, so find myself having to change the words read as I read them out loud. If you have a young independent reader, I would suggest reading the book and discussing it with them as they read it - as you won't be able to edit things that may be difficult for them to understand at their age.

Planet Omar was first released under the title The Muslims, and won the Little Rebels Award 2018, as well as being shortlisted for the UKLA Award and nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. Overall though, it's a great book and really effective in introducing children to the lives of the Prophets. Children will love to colour in these playful pictures as they learn the 28 letters of the Arabic letters. She has released lots of picture books with the independent publisher Sweet Apple Publishers, but Planet Omar is the first time she’s written for older readers.
